Peavey Offers EASE Focus Free for Versarray
(Peavey | Posted 2006-09-25)
Peavey has partnered with Software Design Ahnert GmbH to offer its EASE Focus acoustic simulation software free of charge to users of the new Peavey Versarray line array system. EASE Focus Aiming software draws two-dimensional representations of acoustical environments that aid in the configuration and modeling of line arrays. System installers can use the program to determine the proper flying or mounting points and the correct dispersion angles for the enclosures.
Featuring ribbon drivers, neodymium magnets, exclusive angle-adjustment technology and multiple rigging options, Peavey Versarray enclosures mark Peavey's bold debut into the high-end line array market. Versarray modules utilize special bracket-and-pin flying hardware in a highly flexible rigging system that allows full articulation of the enclosures. With this rigging system, users can adjust modules from 0 to 15 degrees, providing for a classic straight-line array configuration or a number of angling options.
Versarray 112 enclosures can be flown, ground stacked or pole mounted on a Versarray 118 sub. In addition, a crankable tower lift can elevate up to six modules 13 feet above a 218 sub, then fold down for easy transport and storage. Peavey Versarray Series enclosures are available now from authorized Peavey retailers.
SDA is one of the leading companies for the development of pro-audio software worldwide, including the industry-standard EASE electro-acoustic design and analysis packages as well as the EASERA software package for acoustic and electronic measurements.
