Denon highlights eight key products at NAB2008 Booth N4833, offering a range of options for playback of CDs, DVDs and other media, receivers, network A/V players and A/V preamps. These include the DN-V210 and DN-V310 Professional DVD Players; TU-1500RDP AM/FM Stereo Tuner; DN-V755 Network Audio Visual Player; DN-A7100 A/V Surround Preamplifier; DN-C640 Network CD/DVD/Data Disc Player; DN-C615 Rack-Mount CD Player; and DN-C635 Professional CD Player.
The DN-V210 and DN-V310 DVD Players are equipped with the standard functions of most DVD Players and include advanced functions required by professional applications, such as High Definition Multimedia Interface capability (HDMI), Defeatable On-screen Icons, User-definable Wallpaper, NTSC/PAL Conversion, Auto Play and various Repeat modes. These advanced DVD players are suited for Commercial, Educational and Broadcast applications, or any Public Installation that requires a DVD Player that stands up to the rigors that professional applications demand. The DN-V310 even includes a RS-232C serial port, which in turn allows control from industry leaders like AMX™, Crestron™ and other third party integrated control systems.
The TU-1500RDP is an affordable AM/FM stereo tuner featuring precise reception and detailed, clear sound. The TU-1500RDP is also intuitively easy to use and features an easy-to-read display. The TU-1500RDP also provides a rich variety of Radio Data System (RDS) functions and is equipped with a Radio Text function that takes maximum advantage of the various RDS services. Additionally, high sensitivity and selectivity ensure clear reception, even in crowded urban areas.
The DN-V755 Network Audio Visual Player revolutionizes the network A/V player paradigm. Where other systems may require specialized software and a painstakingly-organized media library for configuration and control, the DN-V755 comes with built-in software (no installation required) and features web browser access and intuitive, drag-and-drop media management. The DN-V755 is remotely accessible via the web, has an internal 40 GB hard drive and provides broadcasters, system integrators, contractors, and end-users the industry's easiest digital signage/messaging solution. The unit easily plays MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 video files at bit-rates surpassing DVD quality; JPEG of still pictures; and MP2, MP3 and uncompressed WAV files. A built-in hard drive can store hours of DVD-quality video. A networked DN-V755 couldn't be easier to set up. The first time a unit is booted, it will automatically join the network. Using the standard file system on a Windows® PC or a Macintosh®, all connected DN-V755 units appear as networked hard drives to the computer. Units can be renamed, and opened into a standard web browser (Microsoft® Internet Explorer or Mozilla® Firefox for example) for familiar navigation and instant file management. With the browser, the user can quickly create, modify, play and store playlists to the internal hard drive. Content can also be previewed on the connected display using the browser. When the DN-V755 is connected to a network with Internet access, it will automatically update its internal clock to the current date and time.
The DN-A7100 A/V Surround Preamplifier provides a flexible array of features suited for fully balanced 5.1 and 7.1 surround playback, designed specifically for surround sound decoding in broadcast, installed sound, house of worship, conference and studio monitoring applications. It is equipped with eight true balanced XLR outputs, 7.1 unbalanced line inputs and 2 stereo balanced XLR inputs, as well as four optical and two Coaxial digital inputs. Utilized as the main control interface for any surround monitoring system, the DN-A7100 offers a practical and cost-effective approach to multi-channel audio distribution and playback.
The DN-C640 slot-in Network CD/DVD/Data Disc Player, housed in a compact 1-rackspace enclosure, offers broadcasters tremendous playback format options utilizing largely untapped system resources found in many of today's standard audio, network and computing devices. Elevated from simple audio disc player, the unit enables audio data-file playback from both CD and DVD discs and easy access to network playback capabilities. The unit is compatible with most standard audio data file formats, including CD-DA (.cda), WAVE (.wav), MPEG-1/2 Layer III (.mp3), MPEG-1 Layer II (.mpg) and Windows Media Audio (.wma), allowing for up to 20 hours of MP3 or similar audio playback from a single data CD or up to six days from a data DVD.
The DN-C615 offers broadcasters all the benefits of a professional-quality single-tray CD player at a very economical price. With up to 99 tracks of program play, the DN-C615 offers a wide range of valuable features, including pitch control and MP3 playback capabilities. The DN-C615 is the ideal solution for the broadcast market, as well as schools, churches, and similar venues looking for a high-quality yet affordable CD player.
The durable DN-C635 CD player offers all the functionality of a high-end, installation-grade professional unit at a very affordable price. Professional inputs and outputs, MP3 compatibility, CD TEXT, and many other valuable features give users the audio quality and flexibility they need for virtually any application. A friendly user interface combined with RS-232, contact closure, and infrared remote control capabilities provide exceptional control and ease of use.
