ROLAND KEYBOARDS AT MUSICIANS INSTITUTE

Los Angeles, CA, April 21, 2009 — Roland and Musicians Institute are proud to announce the new addition of Roland Fantom-G6 Music Workstation Keyboards and SH-201 Synthesizers to the music lab at MI’s Keyboard Institute of Technology. The Hollywood school is known for offering state-of-the-art instruction on the latest in music technology. “We want to offer our students the most current and best of what the industry has to offer,” says Kevin Comstock, head of the Keyboard Institute of Technology at MI. “The new Fantom-Gs and SH-201s will provide a superior platform for our program and give our students a decided edge as they embark on their careers.”

Roland has long been committed to music education and it continues to be a high priority. “Musicians Institute combines instruction from leading artists with the finest tools of the trade for an unparalleled experience for their students,” says Lynda Smith, manager of Roland’s education division. “We are pleased to be a partner in preparing the next generation of creative professionals.”

The new keyboards arrived in time for the start of spring classes to the delight of the students. Comstock conveys, “I have been like Santa this week! It’s fun to see the reactions of the students and see how excited they are.” Starting this summer, Musicians Institute will offer a specialized class on the Fantom-G.

In addition to the keyboards, Roland is providing customized curriculum for MI’s keyboard program. “The training materials we’ve created are a key factor in providing a complete solution,” according to Roland’s Market Development Manager, Corey Fournier. “It’s not enough to have amazing technology. So, we’ve developed resources to help players get the most from the gear and their creativity.”
