Peavey offers rebate for free Vypyr foot controller
(Press Release | Posted 2009-12-03)
Peavey is now offering a special deal on getting a free foot controller for the Vypyr modelling amp. I own a Vypyr combo and the foot controller is definitely needed to take full advantage of the amp's many features. Anybody who plays through a modelling amp from any company (Line 6, Vox etc) knows that having to buy the foot controller seperately is an added expense that really hits the wallet. Here's the release:
Rebate! Buy a Peavey VYPYR Modeling Amp & Get a Free Sanpera Foot Controller
PEAVEY INT'L. HEADQUARTERS — Peavey is offering a free Sanpera™ I MIDI foot controller for a limited time to U.S. customers who purchase select VYPYR® Series modeling guitar amplifiers.
Customers who purchase a new Peavey VYPYR Tube 60, VYPYR Tube 120 or VYPYR 100 combo amplifier from an authorized Peavey retailer between September 1 and December 31, 2009, can qualify to receive a free Sanpera I foot controller (a $129.99 value) by rebate.
The Sanpera I expands the capabilities of the VYPYR Series, the most advanced modeling amplifiers on the planet, providing access to the onboard Looper and Tap Tempo features as well as a bank of 12 programmable presets. The Sanpera I also features an expression pedal that can be used with wah, pitch shifter and volume pedal effects. This versatile foot controller is housed in a rugged cast-metal casing with high-quality metal switches and is self powered via MIDI.
Peavey's award-winning VYPYR Series amplifiers feature 24 amp models—dual channels of 12 popular amps for the first time anywhere—plus 11 editable preamp "stomp box" effects and 11 editable post-amp "rack" effects with dual-parameter control, global reverb and global delay.
VYPYR amplifiers are based on powerful 32-bit, floating-point SHARC processors that enable vastly enhanced flexibility and features than ever before available in guitar amplification. Peavey's patented, analog TransTube® circuitry creates the amp models' overdrive tones, so all 32 bits of processing power are devoted to creating highly detailed, accurate models of the amps and effects.
Music-product retailers across the U.S. voted the Peavey VYPYR Series their Product of the Year in the annual Music & Sound Awards, produced by industry journal Music & Sound Retailer. The Peavey VYPYR Series also won the Instrument Amplifier of the Year award in the Music & Sound Awards; the Amplifier Line of the Year award from retailers who voted in Musical Merchandise Review (MMR) magazine's annual survey; and the Guitar World Gold Award from Guitar World magazine for overall value.
Peavey VYPYR amps are endorsed by hard rock's top guitar players, including Matt Heafy and Corey Beaulieu of Trivium, Matt Tuck of Bullet For My Valentine and Phil Demmel of Machine Head.
