Pro-Mark Announces New Autograph Signature Sticks

Pro-Mark has announced three new autograph combo sticks that will be available in January 2010:
Thomas Pridgen TX510W
The new Thomas Pridgen model (stock #TX510W) is made of American hickory. It is .590” in diameter and 16 1/8” long. It features a medium-length taper and large, oval shaped wood tip. This combination produces plenty of volume but with a very responsive rebound.
Ray Luzier TX757W
The new Ray Luzier model (stock #TX757W) is made of American hickory, the new TX757W Ray It is .590” in diameter and 16 1/8” long and features a short taper and a slightly oversized oval shape wood tip for added projection and durability.
Pete Lockett “Voyager” PL1
The Pete Lockett “Voyager” (stock # PL1) is made of American hickory. It is .525” in diameter and 16” long, and is designed with a double butt end for durability and projection.

Jeff Ausdemore TXDC8W (outdoor)
The Jeff Ausdemore autograph snare sticks have a “fast” feel, due to the thin neck which bodes well for quick response in either single stokes or multiple bounce rudiments. The DC8’s shoulder also flares out quickly to handle rim shots, and the shaft provides a “full” feeling in the player’s hand. The smaller bead provides a very clear articulation and a focused attack at all volumes.
Jeff Ausdemore TXDC18iW (indoor)
The Jeff Ausdemore autograph snare sticks have a “fast” feel, due to the thin neck which bodes well for quick response in either single stokes or multiple bounce rudiments. The DC18i indoor snare drum stick also has all of the characteristics of the DC8, without the volume or weight. This lighter stick has the same clear articulation as the heavier model, and the smaller diameter shaft allows for younger students to easily produce a full sound while continuing to build technique.
Nick Petrella NP318R
These mallets were designed to facilitate the quick changes common in contemporary multiple-percussion writing in both concert and marching genres. The metal sleeve provides weight for a full tone and is also an excellent alternative to a triangle beater. The parachute-wrapped head delivers the right amount of articulation on many non-pitched instruments while eliminating the “slap” often associated with other types of covers.
Doug DeMorrow DD10R
The DD10R is a Polyball xylophone mallet that is safe for rosewood yet still produces a sound big enough to cut through any ensemble. It is great for soloists as well as ensembles. All of the mallets in this series produce a big sound with lots of fundamental tone, yet are still light enough for playing faster passages. All three of these mallets use a unique brass core to enhance the fundamental tone.
Doug DeMorrow DD20R
The DD20R is designed for use on orchestra bells, and work particularly well on wide bar bells. The 20R is a great general purpose bell mallet that produces a big sound with lots of fundamental tone, yet is still light enough for playing faster passages. All three of these mallets use a unique brass core to enhance the fundamental tone.
Doug DeMorrow DD30R
The DD30R is designed for use on orchestra bells, and work particularly well on wide bar bells. The DD30R has a healthy amount of attack on bells. All of the mallets in this series produce a big sound with lots of fundamental tone, yet are still light enough for playing faster passages. All three of these mallets use a unique brass core to enhance the fundamental tone.
Tom Freer FTB1B
The FTB1B triangle beater is a legato sounding beater. The tapered front tip facilitates dynamic playing especially in soft to loud rolls and has a soft latex rubber grip for comfort. The Freer FTB1B triangle beater is also available in stainless steel.
