Spector Announces Forte USA Basses

New York guitar and bass maker Stuart Spector has announced two new handmade USA model basses, the Forte4 & Forte5, with the tagline: "No Options, No Frills, ALL TONE." The basses feature the instantly recognizable Spector contoured body, designed in conjunction with Ned Steinberger.
The Forte 4 is 34" scale, the Forte5, 35". Both basses have
graphite-reinforced, three-piece rock maple necks that extend through the body and 24 frets on a Pau Ferro fingerboard that has no inlays. The black satin-finished basses have black hardware, a Spector locking bridge and Dunlop dual-design strap buttons, Aguilar OBP-2 active tone controls and EMG active pickups (P/J Forte4, 40DC Forte5). Master volume and pickup balance controls complete the package. A Spector padded gigbag is include in the prices: $3495 for the Forte4, $3595 for the Forte5. Order are now being accepted for early 2010 delivery.
