(Dave Molter | Posted 2010-01-06)
The new Reverend Six Gun will be introduced at Winter NAMM as the company's latest addition to its bolt-on series of electric guitars.
According to Reverend, the Six Gun's T-style bridge pickup and custom S-style middle and neck pickups "are wound slightly hot for a classic shimmer and twang, with a lot of body."
The Six Gun features a solid korina body with black back and sides, a 25.5-inch bolt-on maple neck in a C profile and 22 frets, rosewood or maple fingerboards with a 12" radius and Pin-Lock tuners. With Vol & Tone controls and piuckup seletor mounted on a chrome strip, the Six Gun is reminiscent of the Fender Telecaster. A Gibson-style stop tailpiece and Tunoe-O-Matic bridge give the guitar a hybrid look.
Available in Clear natural or Metallic Blue finishes, the Six Gun has an MSRP Of $839 MSRP, and an expected street price of $699.
