John Bauer of Johnny B Good Music (www.johnnybgoodmusic.com) is a
perfect example of an entrepreneur in the new economy. After being
laid off from the mortgage industry last year, he got busy on what he
wanted to do most: put good quality guitars into the hands of
musicians and amateurs at reasonable rates.
Now, he is the exclusive U.S. distributor for Dreambow guitars, the
private brand of the Great Music factory in Qingdao China, which also
builds guitars for Epiphone, Fender, Washburn, EMC, Takamine and
several other well-known brands.
For their own Dreambow brand, Great Music uses solid spruce and cedar
tops, rosewood fingerboards and a variety of solid woods, including
ash, bubinga, mahogany and maple combined these in a unique set of
designs for acoustic, electric, acoustic-electric and bass guitars.
Because they are an unknown brand, Dreambows will be sold at prices
point that are generally below the better-known brands made by the
exact same manufacturer. Dreambow prices range from $225 to $585.
