* Korg Sound on Sound unlimited track recorder
$20 rebate:
* Korg Pitchblack chromatic pedal tuner
Complete details and a downloadable rebate coupon can be found at www.korg.com/promo.
About the featured products:
Though compact in size, the Korg pitchblack Chromatic Pedal Tuner features a very large LED display, for easy viewing in any environment. Additional features include four distinct meter modes, true bypass mode, and a wide tuning/detection range. The Pitchblack is housed in a road-ready, die-cast aluminum case for extra reliability. Street price: $99 USD.
The Korg Wavedrum (pictured) can be used as a stand-alone percussion instrument, or integrated into an existing drum kit or percussion rig. Unlike digital trigger-based systems, Wavedrum uses a real drum head as the playing surface, providing an authentic and familiar feel. This allows the performer to employ sticks, brushes, mallets and/or traditional hand-drum techniques (mute, slap, bend, etc.) to play with comfort and confidence. Street price: $599 USD.
Unlike other portable recorders (even multitrack), Korg’s SOUND on SOUND (SOS) Unlimited Track Recorder allows for an infinite number of overdubs or alternate takes to be recorded. Each is recorded as an individual CD-quality WAV file, and saved directly to a microSD card. All tracks will automatically line up when imported into a computer-based DAW system for further editing, mixdown and final playback. Street price: $299 USD.
Part of Korg’s popular microSERIES, the microSAMPLER comes complete with a gooseneck microphone, and provides a fast and easy way to integrate creative audio sampling into any musical scenario. It features a 37-key Natural Touch mini-keyboard, five distinct sampling modes, a time stretch feature and dozens of preset sounds and effects for instant music-making. Street price: $499 USD.
The Korg M50 Music Workstation distills the sonic essence of the acclaimed M3 Xpanded flagship into a portable and affordable instrument. Packed with up-to-the minute sound and features, the M50’s streamlined, modern design includes an angled control panel for easy viewing and Korg’s exclusive full-size TouchView interface for the first time in a mid-priced instrument. The EDS (Extended Definition Synthesis) sound engine delivers stunning sounds and brilliant effects. Street price: $1100-$1800 USD.
