5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsAfter receiving a Takamine EF341DLX from American Music Supply with a 12" split in the top, I went ballistic, sent it back and went on my "in person" search for another black, cutaway, dreadnaught guitar. I payed 4 figures at Edwards Music in Fayeteville, NC, fourty-five minutes away. After playing "in-stock" Taylors, Martins, Gibsons, there was no doubt, this is a piece of art in body and soul.
1. Action is great. 2. Sound is rich, full, with deep bass and crisp treble. 3. The on-board electronics make playing through my Vox AT15VT awesome!
As with another review I read, black is hard to keep clean. But this just drives my anal-retentive psyche.
4. Build quality is superb, flawless fit and finish. 5. Is always in tune, even after banging, picking and bending the Elixirs.
If you are looking to buy a guitar then you have a wealth of options. If you are looking for a piece of you soul, then buy a Yairi
