Epiphone Chet Atkins CE Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsI bought this guitar at a local dealer in Canada. I got this unit as I needed a guitar that I can also use with an amp but still had nylon strings. Other Nylon Acoustic/Elictric are expensive and this was the most reasonable one.
I like it because it serves its purpose well. I use it as a stand alone acoustic and plug it to an amp at times. And Because it has nylon strings I can play on it for hours. The other nice thing about it is the size of the body. It is a slim body. The sound that comes out of it is very good as well.
The thing that I don't like about it is that it does not have the dot on the fret board. I was used to having the dots on the 5th and 7th fret but this one does not have them. The pick up is a bit sensitive.
The body is slim. and the neck is a little wide. It took me some tome to get used to this. But after getting used to this you will have fun using this thing.
This is what I call a poor man's guiar! good sound as an acoustic and plugged in. Very elegant Lawrence Cabal rated this unit on 2004-06-26.
