Ibanez PF5MS Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsI acquired my Ibanez PF5MS from an on line sight called music123.com. It normaly is listed at 280.00$ but thay were having a sale and I got it for 185.99$ I think its a good price.
I'm very new at playing guitars. So, as you would guess I don't know anything about the instrument. I started to do some research in music mags, book stores and a large part on the web. (most of it to be truthfull) I came across this guitar and just fell head over heals for the way it looks. I asked friends who know how to play about it and they convayed to me that the PF5MS is a great guitar to start with. They were right.I just recived it two weeks ago and I am having a blast. I just can't get enought of it. It has a crisp and clean sound to it. The strings are well spaced for easy play. The body and neck are well designed. As for the paint job: AWSOME... I think it was well worth the money
I can't think of a thing.
Its well constructed. Its a dreadnought body style made from mahogany. The neck is also constructed from mahogany. The bridge and the fretboard are made from rosewood. Its inlayed with pearl dot and has a marine sunburst high gloss finish. My wife likes how it matches the living room. (purly coinsidental, realy..)
As I said before, I am a beginers beginer. I have a long way to go before I can even play a good tune on my guitar. But the inspuration I get just from looking at my Ibanez and hearing the notes as I strum on the strings makes me want to learn as much as I can. I'm only working on the basics but I am enjoying every minute of it. Stan rated this unit on 2002-02-20.
