This guitar will set you back $1200 with a hardshell bag, not case. I demo'd this instrument for a few days and it is one of those guitars you hate to set down let alone send back!
What stands out about this guitar is that is is maple. Don't let that scare you. It is bright, but trust me it's a good bright.
The cutaway offers you easy access to the upper frets to solo.
The gig bag. It is a durable nice bag, but c'mon, it needs a case!
Cosmetically what sets it apart from most Taylors is the black finish and the thumb print inlays similar to what Gretsch does on the Chet Atkins models
I already mentioned it is a maple body with a cutaway. The maple is laminated and the top is Sikita Spruce.
The binding is cream and it comes out of the factory with Elixir strings.
The ultimate acoustic for live playing; solos, chords, picking, finger-picking, plenty of full body snap. Billy rated this unit on 2011-09-27.
