Washburn EA 20 Festival Series Reviews
5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsI paid $500 for the guitar & case, slightly used. A woman had owned it, but decided to get rid of it. If it was a car, it would've had less than 1,000 miles on it when I bought it. I got a supereb deal on the guitar.
The Grovber machine heads isnures the guitar will stay in tune. I have never owned an instrument that stayed in tune so well. The action is very nice, & the electronics are very nice. It is very sleek & light, a real pleasure to play.
The EQ & volume controls are at the top of the guitar, you can accidently move your settings with your arm while strumming if you're not careful. There is no front strap key to apply a strap, I had to tie my strap around the head stock. I also dislike the case and the way it opens. It won't open all the way back, if you're not careful it will close on the guitar while you're getting it out or putting it back. I've put 2 small dents on the guitar in this way. Other than these mionor issues, there is nothing else.
Solid, yet fragile is the best way to describe it. I treat it very nicely, but I don't think it would stand up to much abuse. The finish and appearance are excellent.
This is a very nice guitar, well worth $700-$800. I enjoy playing it very much, it is my main acoustic instrument. I've had no trouble out of it since my purchase. I've gotten nothing but positive feedback from other people whom have played on it.
