Hendrix, Southern Rock, and a mix of blues.
I recently bought a Les Paul to broaden my talent. I have never played with a pick, I have always played better with my fingers.
A few years after high school, I got a job at MUsic& Arts music store in Maryland. I too knew about the quality of Martin, but it was only a dream at that time to buy one.
A new product, Yamaki, came into the store and I was very impressed with the sound and quality, but the price was right for me. This guitar has mellowed over the years as most good acoustic guitars do.
Superb craftmanship! The action is still the same as when I bought it over 30 years ago. Nothing on this guitar has been repaired or replaced. Even the paper sticker on the inside has not frayed, it has only darkened with age. The sticker has been stamped that it was made on 1/25/1973. It shows a No. 115. There is also a stamp B873 beside the Yamaki Folk print.
I have liked everything about this guitar, even after 30 plus years. No faults whatsoever.
Obviously, the construction is very sound. It has stayed true for over 30 years. The face of the guitar has aged just right over the years.
Things were made to last some years ago. I really don't know if middle price acoutics are still made to last.
I've been fortunate. I found an acoustice guitar quality built when I was young, and now I also have one of the best made electric guitars. LIFE IS GOOD!
