Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I generally use this strings on my 5-String carvin Bass. I have been using them for about 6-7 years. I pay between $20-30 a set depending if they are on sale or not.

These string are well constructed and fairly durable. The tone last a good while and the strings work well. They have a good tension and flexable. The play comfortably and should not give you any troubles. They stay in tune well and as long as you have a sturdy bass with good tunners and a good bridge they should stay in tune for a very long time.

I have had numerous string break on my five string, but I am pretty sure it was more from the bridge being rough and my playing being hard. I have not had that happen very often after I got the bridge fixed, only if the strings were really old.

Good durable construction.

They are good strings and not too expensive. Good durable construction I would surely recommend them.
