Levy EM8-S Bass Gigbag Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsStandard black 600 denier polyester with 1' foam padding, plush lining, string and bridge protectors, two accessory pouches, double pull zippers and dual rubber padded backpack straps. I've played bass for 45 years.
I've bought this bag in various forms from Musiciansfriend and other online retailers. Some have company logos on the bag, some don't. Prices run anywhere from $35 for an unlogoed bag to $75 for one with a logo. Same bag -- like designer jeans, you're paying for the designer label.

The Levy's EM8-S gigbag is well made and durable. i' foam padding is thicker than most bags at this price. Dual backpack straps, a large accessory pocket for cords, etc., and a smaller one that is the perfect size for a package of strings.
With constant use, the rear strap button on a bass can wear a hole in the bottom of the bag.
Well made: zippers work freely, padding remains intact. Stands up to rain very well.
Levy's EM8-S bass gigbag is a reasonably-priced option for those who don't need a hardshell case. 1' foam padding is thicker than most gigbags at this price. Two accessory pockets are a nice feature; most bags at this price have only one. Laklander rated this unit on 2010-04-02.
