it's a 3-inch wide strap (kinda large) and it's got a tubular pad in it. it's the most comfortable strap i've ever used.

very good quality. i could tell when i put it on that the leather was good quality and wouldn't stretch out and start falling off of the pegs.

if you're looking for a REALLY comfortable strap, look no further. for 20 bucks, this strap is a steal!
