Aguilar DB 750 Hybrid Head Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsPurchased at Guitar Villa in Bethlehem, PA for $1,400.00. A great store, by the way ... they treat you right!
Most amazing amp I have ever owned. Loud as HELL. Warm tube preamp, massive mosfet power output (750 watts / 4-ohms). Coupled with (2) Bag End cabs, this thing will move mountains! Total pro gear all the way. Bulletproof construction.
Nothing really, except having to lift it! At 46 pounds + tuner and power conditioner, you end up with a 6-space rack that makes you wish you had a roadie. But for the sound you get out of this monster, it's a small price to pay for the best tone of your life!
Bulletproof handmade quality. Reeks of durability, quality, and aesthetic appeal. Just what you need and nothing more: Bass/Mid/Treble + Deep and Bright switches. Meat and potatoes without all the bells and whistles. I hate graphic EQ! How good can an amp be if you need that much help with the tone right out of the box? The Aguilar stuff is the benchmark of what bass should sound like.
Couldn't be happier with my purchase. The technical support at Aguilar is top-shelf, too. Charles rated this unit on 2002-06-22.
