Purchased from Dorsey Music in Boise, ID for $1,550.
This amp is by far the best amp I have ever owned, played through or heard. For starters, it has more power than my Ampeg SVT 4, or SVT 5. It is rated at only 800 Watts, but it smokes the Ampegs hands down. I run it through the Eden 810 cabinet, and I can play it at half volume and over power my guitar players, who are playing Marshall half stacks with the JCM series amps. I get a huge, warm and full sound out of it with the EQ running flat. (I have to tweak the hell out of the Ampegs to get the sound I want.) IT is easy to use and the BEST part is the fact that is is feather light. Even after mounting it in my rack with a power conditioner, aural enhancer, etc, the setup can be carried by my 105 pound girl friend.
The price tag is hefty, but you get what you pay for.
Also, the push buttons for the compressor and the bi amp selectors recess to far into the faceplate when depressed. You have to use a pen or other sharp object to release them. Fortunately, once the buttons are set, you should not have to change them.
Rock solid. It has been on the road with me four to five nights a week without any problem.
If you want huge bang for your buck, with power to spare and easily obtained tone that will raise the hair on the back of neck, buy this AMP!!!!! This will be the last amp you have to buy, no kidding.
