Eden WT-300 Head Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsYou know Eden by the famous gold back plate. This amp delivers a LOUD, punchy hi-fi tone. This amp claims it only puts out 175 watts at 8 ohms or 300 at 4 ohms, but I was really able to rattle the stage with it!
I walked into a super deal on this used. I think new these amps ran about $500-$600 I don't think they are made anymore.
The power. This was a full thumpin, rattle your pants amp. I have played it through an Ampeg 4x10 and an 8x10.
More knobs than a... Well, the EQ takes some getting used to, but it is very versatile. You can change the frequency of the knobs and boost or cut whatever signals you need.
This amp got really hot after leaving it on for a few hours. I mean it is common for an amp to be warm, but this was hot. That along with some horror stories make me a bit uneasy about putting all my eggs in one basket with this amp.
Very solid. It looked built well. I mention the horror stories of customer service nightmares, but this amp has never let me down. No unwanted noise.
I would buy this amp again. It sounds great, has enough power for any gig and it never let me down. Billy rated this unit on 2010-12-07.
