Fender Frontman 60 Bass Amp Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviews My son surprised me on Father's Day with my choice of several different bass amps while shopping at Sam Ash Music. He paid $229.99 .
I picked this amp over several more expensive ones for the following reasons:
I liked the sound and the Low Down punch this amp provided, the amp is relatively light compared to the bigger amps, I like it's classic style and the fact that it is a "Fender" didn't hurt either.
If I were to make the choice again, it would be the same amp, no question. Unless you are playing moderate to large venues this amp should serve you well.
Nothing so far.
This amp is SOLID. I don't know how thick the material is in the case but I don't think you could ever damage the enclosure under normal use. Did I say this amp is S-O-L-I-D !
Like a rock.
I have played guitars for 30+ years and for the last year I have been learning the bass. The Fender Frontman 60 Bass Amp has been the perfect choice. It's got tons more oomph that the little 10, 20, 30 watt amps but one man is still able to carry it around. I love it! Elton Palmateer rated this unit on 2003-12-07.
