Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I purchased this unit from a local music shop for around $600.00 with a case new.

This is truly a good looking instrument. It is made of a man made material called luthite which allows Ibanez to create a truly ergonomic shape. The bass rests against your body perfectly. The active eq also allows endless sound shaping.

The nut on the output jack is always loose, and I plan to add some schaller straplocks in the future.

Construction is top notch, this really is an outstanding mid range bass.

Overall I think that this is a good purchase for someone who plays once or twice a week. I have a small band me and some friends and we play some small vienues, this bass is perfect for me it has a wounderful feel and balance.
