Peavey Millennium 5 Plus Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsSam Ash in Edison, NJ for $1,400.
I am usually not one to endorse a product. This bass has changed my life!!! I went shopping around 8 months ago.
I was checking out the heavy hitters: Warwick, Specter, Music Man, etc. The all of a sudden the Sam Ash salesguy came over and handed me a Peavey bass. I said, "I didn't even know Peavey made basses" and started to play it. This @#$%ing thing rocks!!! It is so versatile and comfortable to play and sounds like a dream.
I traded an Ibanez 5 string and a Kramer acoustic bass and had to put some more money down to get this bad boy, but it was well worth the $1,400 price tag. I have NEVER been so pleased with purchase of any kind :-)

I honestly have nothing at all bad to say about this bass.
This is one solid bass. It has two sets of active pickups with a plethora of controls to get the sound you're after.
I think I've said it all already. Just go get one :-) Eric rated this unit on 2003-01-15.
