Pearl B1000 Boom Cymbal Stand Reviews  5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsI bought this stand at my local georges music store for $85. I bought it to replace a striped stand that I had and i wanted something that was heavy duty and would last for a long time.
I love this stand because it is really heavy and doesn't fall over even when the boom is all the way out. I mount my ride cymbal on this stand with a clamp and it doesn't even wobble with two cymbals on it. I also like the type of locking nut it comes with. Instead of a normal nut that you screw on and off, it has wings that clip together to lock it on and then you pull them apart and pull of the nut. It saves a lot of time when setting up and packing up. The stand also has many other features that make it very high quality.
The only thing that i don't like about this stand is the price for it. 85 dollars is kinda steep to pay for a cymbal stand, but you get what you pay for in this one.
This stand is heavy duty and will take anything that you can throw at it. It has double braced legs and thick piping that should last for a long time. It's made by pearl so you know you're getting a quality product, and you definitely get a good stand.
Even though it has a steep price tag is is still a great stand and it easily beats out my other tama stands. So if you have the money and you need a heavy, high quality stand then buy this stand. Drumkid11 rated this unit on 2004-08-31.
