CB CB700 Reviews 4 / 5 based on 2 reviewsBought at a local music store. 14 piece set for $700.
Very versitle for transportation. You can also have flexibility with the amount of drums you were willing to lug around. Added a custom TAMA tom stand. Good deep sounds and kept tune well.
The stock bass drum pedal was very bad and fell apart after a few months of heavy playing.
All godd, but the above mentioned pedal problem.
Good drums...good value. Vince rated this unit on 2002-12-30. I bought my trap used out of the classified adds section of my newspaper. I got it because I think that playing is fun and learning new beats is cool. I paid $400 for it. However the cymbals I bought from a friend for $100.
It is a good starter set. It didn't cost me an arm and a leg to get and I will hopefully be in a band with my friend and some people from his church soon.
It is a used set. The skins need to be replaced, and I need to get new hardware for the front of the bass and bottoms of the toms. It's held together quite well, though.

I believe I got my money's worth because I play it a lot. I spend probably an hour a day playing along with the radio.
I think first time buyers like myself should go used to find out if you like playing and will spend the time with the set. I have had good times with mine.
