Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

Bought my 11" Quinto & 11 3/4" Conga from a Vancouver music store. I payed $500.00 for both. No Taxes!! Yeah!!

Great overal tone. Good pops and smoothness. Pretty light, that's nice when hauling gear to a gig. Finish was good. I'm not to interested in that.

The bolts that hold the mounting bracket to the conga come lose. They need constant attention. I changed the heads to EVANS. Much better sound.

A great job done by TOCA. I've taken these congas all over British Columbia, Canada. They are solid, lightweight. The hardware is built to last. Sound great even in heavey humidity.

If looking for an inexpensive fibreglass conga, go TOCA Premier series. Best bang for your buck.
