Yamaha Beech Custom Absolute Drums Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsHave played Yamaha Drums professionaly since 1982. I've tried others and played some on gigs but nothing can compete with the Yamahas....nothing!
My fourth set of Yamaha's I bought in Feb of 2003. Plum (purple)laquer finish 16x20 bass, 10,12 toms and 12x14 floor tom. A combination of 7 and 800 series hardware.
I gig with and without soundmen and the drums are fabulous either way. I get compliments all the time on how they look and how punchy they are. I use clear pins no the top and clear dips on the bottom. Kick has a Evans EMAD, snare is a white coated emp.
Great drums folks...I also just recently bought a Rick Moretta Hip Gig kit for rehearsals...wow talk about fun!
Absolutely nothing they're top of line all the way!
Un matched in the industry
If you're a proffessional musician either part-time or full-time, you would be doing and injustice to yourself if you never have played yamaha pro drums. There just isn't any better! Drummman rated this unit on 2004-08-18.
