Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I bought the guitar at a local music dealership. I had a Fender Telecaster a couple of years ago that I sold. I wanted a replacement. It cost $200.

I love the EMG passive pickup in the bridge. The finish is excellent. The contrast between the brown shell pickguard and the natural finish is cool. Sounds and plays like a Fender, but it's a bit different.

I've had some minor problems with the toggle switch. Nothing a little contact fluid won't fix though.

Premier construction. Excellent value!

I like this guitar better than the standard Fender Tele. AXL/Johnson are making great guitars these days.
