Cort LP Reviews
4 / 5 based on 1 reviewsI purchased this guitar in an electrical store in Letterkenny, Donegal. I was first attracted by the appearance but then I was almost disuaded by the price, at £235 it was the most expensive there but I now realise that it is worth every penny.
Besides being the epitomy of all that could be sexy about a guitar (Its black, oh yeah baby!) It has a fantastic sound, supplied by its neck and bridge humbuckers. It has a really comfortable fretboard, not too wide, not too narrow, just perfect!
The only thing I don't like about this unit is the fact that NO-ONE I know has one so I cannot discuss the finer details of owning such a heavenly creature! No, seriosly though, If I was to choose something bad about this guitar, is that the 3rd and 4th strings go out of tune far too easily due to the angle made between the machine heads and the nut.
This is basically a Les Paul shaped guitar. It has a bolt on neck (very deceptive), fixed bridge, 1 tone and 1 volume pot per pickup. It is a very sturdy Korean made guitar, of all of the knocks it has taken over the last few months, I've only chipped the paint, but because of that, my guitar is now an individual!
I think that it is a real shame that this guitar isn't as well known as it deserves to be, but a very selfish part of me doesn't want to share it or its kind with anyone! At the time I bought it, I was feeling a little regretful, but now, I just feel guilty that I should have paid more!
