Epiphone Black Beauty Custom Reviews 5 / 5 based on 2 reviewsI HAVE PLAYED FOR OVER 40 YEARS STARTED WHEN A TEENAGER HAVE PLAYED A LITTLE WITH A FEW BANDS BUT PLAY MOSTLY FOR HOBBY AND IN CHURCH
I BOUGHT THIS GUITAR ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO PAID 454.00 WITH OUT CASE I HAVE ALWAYS AMIRED LP AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT SO I BOUGHT IT
I HAVE SEVERAL GUITARS A GIBSON CHET ATKINS TENNESSEAN, A SQUIRE STRAT WITH LACE SENSORS, A GRETSCH ELECTOMATIC, AND OUT OF ALL I PLAY THE LES PAUL THE MOST THIS GUITAR SOUND GREAT LOW VOLUME AND HIGH. THE SUSTAIN IS AWSOME THE FINISH AND LOOKS KNOCK DEAD. THIS GUITAR GOES BEYOND MY EXPECTATION.
WHEN I FIRST GOT THE GUITAR THE MIDDLE P/U DID NOT WORK FOUND THAT IN THE SELECTOR SWITCH THE WIRE WAS LODGED IN THE CONTACTS FIXED WITH NO PROBLEMS OTHER THAT THAT THIS IS THE ULTIMATE.
FINISH BLACK WITH WHITE BINDING AND NECK THRU BODY GOLD P/U'S A REAL EYE CATCHER ANY ONE WOULD BE THE PROUD TO HAVE THIS.
OVER ALL THE GUITAR IS AWESOME, AND FOR THE PRICE, THEY HAVE AS CLOSE TO THE GIBSON MODEL YOU CAN'T TELL MUCH DIFFERENCE GUITARZANA1 rated this unit on 2006-07-28. I bought this for £450 from a local guitar store. This was like my third guitar. I actually meant to go get an SG but hey, i guess it was fate.
Its a real great guitar. Good deep full tones, a great crunch and everything in between. The neck is really smooth and the neck is a through body so it has great sustain. It also stays in tune for an age which is great. The neck is also flat, and I find a flat nech much easier to play on. It just sounds like a much much more expensive guitar. Epiphone, I love you!
Well, the selector switch sometimes gets knocked when im playing. It's also difficult to hit certain chords right down the bottom of the neck. Its a really heavy guitar. My strap is struggling to stay together cause of it. It weighs more than my bassists guitar.
I've bashed it god knows how many times and it still works. The screw that holds the strap thing at the top came outta mines tho, due to the extreme weight of the guitar, but i just screwed in a longer screw. The neck goes straight into the body too. Its a good durable guitar id say, its even survived being soakend wet.
I love it, buy one now! Scott Kemp rated this unit on 2003-09-29.
