Fender Korona Stratocaster ReviewsBrought from Trevor Durrant Guitar Shop, Colchester, UK for £389 in June 2000.
Trevor told me of a limited stock of these low cost USA built Strats that he was selling at below RRP. Once I had seen it and played it for a few minutes, it was clear that it was a gem, it just played so easily. If I wanted a higher output pick up, he could fit one any time I liked but in the meantime it was jsut a good old fashioned standard Strat at a really good price. Finished in white and with a maple fretboard, you wanted to turn it upside down and give it to Jimi Hendrix.
Wow....where to start. If you've got the money for a Lone-Star strat then congratulations. For those on a smaller budget this is just the thing to get you playing more and better. Mike Withers rated this unit on 2001-06-26. |
