Fender Squire Stratocaster Made In Japan Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsI bought it more or less 8 years ago,it was my second guitar. It cost around around 120 at the time.my old guitar broke and i didnt had much money to buy a really good one ,so my options were limited...
Its very confortable and acurate i particulary love the neck...its cool and my unit is very similar with the real Fender strats,i play a lot of blues and hard rock in it and the sound is amazing coming out of it...
the only draw back is the pickup switch and the buttons but this was intirely my fault cause i left it out of the case for a month in a moisty enviroment so que humidity screw up the switch a bit and the volume...when it was new nothing of this never hapened until i made that fatal mistake...
Because it“s a "made in japan" unit the neck is amazing, even more confortable for me than fender's strats(maybe i was just lucky with that unit,i dont know...)the body is very solid.I play with it allmost every day for the past 8 years and the arm is still in place and havent needed tuning yet.i tried to know more about the squire factory in japan "she" came out but i havent had much sucess...
Its a very good first guitar for anyone...but be carefull, dont buy the "made in corea" ones....the corean ones have a very poor construction standards and the materials are not good,in other case the japanease ones are very very good...you will fall inlove with the sound and even if you buy a much better one you will allways go back and pick her up for old times sake..you will get a inlove with her like me with mine...
