Even in the studio it's off limits for anything other than rock or metal. Many of the people building them now are the same people who built them 20 years ago. The quality was there then and its still there now. If you're looking for one of the most versatile guitars that Jackson has to offer, you should really check this model out. While I generally prefer the Dinky guitars due to their bolt-on construction, the Jackson Soloist is a great guitar that should be able to do nearly any style you'd like.
