Stellar Mercury 004 Reviews 5 / 5 based on 2 reviewsEBAY 235.00
This guitar is awesome and really built.
and pleasent to the eye. The case is worth what I paid for the guitar. This baby really stays in tune once you get rid of the factory strings. Such a nice quality piece
should come with better strings so the consumer knows the strings are bad not the guitar. How can they sell them with the case so cheap. all I can say is WOWWWWW
You gotta get one.I'm going online to buy me a 12 string I gotta bass too. AWESOME GUITARS. SIMPLY SWEET.
The strings were impossible to tune. I thought the guitar was a junker when I got it till I put new strings on it. This baby really stays in tune like the big boys do.
Beyond what I could imagine for the price I paid.
YOU GOTTA GET ONE BEFORE YOU GO OUT AND SPEND 700 OR MORE FOR A BIG NAME GUITAR.
THESE BABYS ARE GONNA GO THROUGH THE ROOF AS SOON AS PEAPLE REALIZE WHAT A GREAT GUITAR THIS IS. BUT CHANGE THOSE FACTORY STRINGS THEY REALLY SUCK. THE LOOKS QUALITY
WOOD GREAT SOUND, I HAVE AN IBANEZ ARTCORE
AN OSCAR SCHMIDT JAZZ. THE RYTHEM SOUND CAN'T COMPARE TO THIS STELLAR AND STAYING IN TUNE. ALL I CAN FINISH WITH IS UNBELEIVABLE.LOOK FOR MY ARTCORE AND SCHMIDT
ON EBAY. I'M KEEPING THE GOOD ONE. RANDY DEAN rated this unit on 2004-10-26. I bought this guitar on ebay for $230 + shipping. It came with a really durable hardshell case. I bought this guitar a few months later after I bought a Stellar Mercury 003 (which is a great guitar). I wanted to buy a nice quality jazz box for a great price and since I was already familiar with Stellar's quality and great prices, I didnt think twice when purchasing it.
When I first pull the guitar out of it's case, the first thing I was thrilled about was the finish. I got it in a honey quilt which is amazing! The pictures did the guitar no justice. Before plugging it in I changed the strings and lowered the action. When I finally connected it the the amp, it sounded great. It has a warm tone with a long lasting sustain. The neck is also thin so it was easy on my fingers. The tuners held tune very well. All in all, a great guitar.
The strings it came with were too high of a guage for a hollowbody guitar.
It is a pretty solid guitar. I dont see why it won't last me the rest of my life. It has a set neck, 2 gold plated Stellar humbucker pickups, a good weight, high quality finish, fast neck, and a great design. It easily compares with $800+ jazz boxes out there.
This is my second Stellar purchase in less then one year. Once you play a Stellar, you can see for yourself why it becomes almost addicting to buy more because of their great price and quality. I'm sold with Stellar. BUY THIS GUITAR!!! William rated this unit on 2004-09-30.
