Tradition S-2002 Reviews 5

I acquired this Les Paul model at McVay Music in Cranberry Twp. Pa for about $900.00. After playing the entire number of offerings and comparing them to the brand names, I gotta tell you that these guitars are a steal at the price. I would compare the quality, sound, appearance and playability of this Tradition to any Gibson or Epiphone model out there, but at a fraction of the price.

The black cherry burst finish is flawless as is the gold hardward and super fast rosewood neck. The attention to detail is amazing, but the most incredible thing is how the ax sounds! Dual humbucker pick-ups that are potted as well produce an amazing range of sounds. I bought it to pound the blues, but find myself doing some metal rock numbers as well as rock-a billy tunes, too. It sounds that great.

So far, there hasn't been anything not to like, from the customer service people to the finished product, I am one happy camper!

Solid mahogany set neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard, great sounding pick-ups, solidly constructed and beautifully finished. Comes with a hard case as well.

My buddy Bill Paganie turned me on to this manufacturer. Data is hard to find since they do not do much advertising, but the proof is in the performance. Do yourself a favor. Before you spend hundreds or thousands of bucks on a brand name, check these guys out! They have a strat model as well as a tele, PRS, as well as hollow bodies. They are play and sound terrific!
