Washburn BT3 ReviewsSaw it hanging (NEW but BROKEN)in a pawn shop, for $50.00. Looked like good parts on it so I bought it. Somebody did a wammy bar dive that broke out the bridge mount. After looking at it I decided to see if I could fix it. It now plays easier and smoother than my Strat and kicks the Strat's butt in tone too, even after Strat had PUPs changed! I know I stole mine for the price, but I still think that under $300 is a real bargin sleeper for a new one. I found another one in a pawn ($100) for a kid just starting to play and he loves it. It's a great starter guitar, cheap but good playability. This is a real good bargin ax for dirt cheap, and it realy plays great after you set the intonation. I've heard people bash the Pickups, but they sound pretty good to me running clean through a Fender Deluxe Reverb. Jim C rated this unit on 2004-03-18.More Washburn Electric_Guitars |
