Capo Key Ring Capo Key Ring Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsThe Capo Key Ring is a genius idea I recently saw put into play. How many times have you showed up at the gig only to realize you forgot something small yet so important.
The guy who invented the Capo Key Ring has your back, well if you don't lose your car keys that is!
I first saw this advertised in last month's issue of a British guitar magazine I subscribe to. I thought it was a genius idea and I needed to get one to review for a guitar blog I write.
The literature I received with the Capo Key Ring says it costs 6.99 pounds. I do not know what that translates into American dollars, I am going to guess once the product gets to the states is will cost around $10.

It can fit in your pocket at anytime. You'll have your car keys and your capo together. That means if you're driving to the gig thinking 'What'd I forget?!?!' You most likely have the capo with you.
You can remove the capo from The Capo Key Ring so that means your keys won't be smacking against the neck while you are playing nor will everyone know where you shop or what gym you work out at from your plastic club cards.
This isn't as quick as the spring loaded capos. You need to wrap it around and tighten the velcro. Not a big deal at all, this is how many older capos worked 10-20 years ago, I just want you to know what you are buying.
The capo bar seems to be plastic and the strap is double sided velcro. It feels like it will hold together well. There is also a Marshall amp logo on the capo. I am not sure of the connection. Maybe Marshall helped invest in the product?
Bottom Line is say goodbye to forgetting your capo at home again. The capo functions well and is a genius idea. Billy rated this unit on 2011-05-24.
