Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

Voted the Best in Show at the Summer NAMM show, the Spider Capo is a cool new accessory to hit the shelves. It can act as a normal capo or for the first time ever, with individual string knobs you can capo or uncapo whichever string you want.

The Spider Capo is $29.95. I saw it at my local guitar shop, but wanted to read more online before I purchased one. There was not much info about it, so I bought it anyway and figured I could help others out there.

I like that it is easy to adjust the string spacing and width of the capo. You can use this on almost any neck radius. I even tried it with a bass and a 12 string guitar and was able to get it to work.

Nothing. It does what it says it does.

Easy to use and adjust to any guitar. The individual sliders and ends are made of plastic, so I wouldn't go throwing this around the room, but it functions just as it should.

A genius product. Add in alternate tunings and your possibilities are endless. The back of the package has a few suggestions to check out.
