Bought these strings at Guitar center. Paid $13.99. I wanted to try the Gibson electric guitar strings. I've used them on my mandolin and acoustic, but never on my electric.
These are really nice strings. They're bright, as the name implies, but without the brittleness, and tinny sound of some strings. They wear well, and I've never had a problem with breakage. These strings stay in tune also. They're well packaged, and the 3-pack price is a nice way to save some money. A good deal from Gibson!
They're a little more expensive than some other strings, but the 3-pack price helps out! Also remember that you're paying for Gibson quality!
They're well made, and seem very consistent string to string and set to set. Gibson quality all the way! No tarnished strings in any of the sets I've bought, unlike some strings from other manufacturers.
Great sounding, quality Gibson strings! Buy the 3-pack and save some dough! I'd buy these strings again, without a doubt! mike rated this unit on 2007-05-10.
