JetSlide JetSlide Reviews 5

The JetSlide is a patented device built to improve your ability to play slide guitar. In a nutshell, the JetSlide is a ring that fits on your finger, yes you order the device by your ring size, and it has a thin piece of steel, brass or glass which acts as the slide. The slide is just under the thickness of a Bic pen.

I first saw this in a guitar magazine and then carried by Musician's Friend in their mail order catalog. Each slide is between $20 and $25.

It doesn't cover your entire finger so you do not lose a finger and have full access to play bar chords. No more sweaty fingers from a slide and it is very light weight. You'll quickly forget it's even attracted. I also must add that the ring doesn't full wrap around your finger so you can make sleight adjustments.

No complaints here.

Very well built. I did receive a notice with the glass tip that it is fragile. It suggests not to keep it in your pocket. Other than glass I don't see anything breaking on these.

A great original idea put out by the company. This product allows you to play slide then jump back and forth to playing chords effortlessly.

JETSLIDE Review By Pieter Holland www.rocknrollranchstudios.com Hello everyone in guitar land! Here is a little review about a new product made by gary romero from Antonito, Colorado, called the “jetslide”. This little patented innovation makes slide playing easy, and pretty much fun. As they say in their promo, “just a flick of the finger, and you’re instantly playing blues, rock and country slide guitar.” without giving up the use of your ring finger to an antiquated bottle neck slide, you are able to retain full use of all your fingers. yes you read it right folks, this little device enables you to play slide guitar and be able to have full use of your fretting fingers so you are able to play guitar chords and solos at the same time. I was quite surprised how easy it was to use. When you receive your jetslide, they enclose a great set of directions on its use and versatility. Things that are mentioned is how the jetslide is designed to be worn on the ring finger, and the bent portion of the slide bar rests between the flesh of the ring finger and the little finger. This prevents the slide from turning excessively toward the underside of the ring finger. It also stabilizes the slide while it is being used and helps it fall out of the way when the finger tab is released. It also tells you how to use the slide by simply placing the little finger on the finger tab and apply pressure when needed. The remaining fingers may be used to dampen unwanted string noise. The jetslide is handmade and custom fit to your ring size. It is available in standard ring sizes 8 through 12. larger sizes are also available for you bigfoot guitar players. The ring can also be adjusted using a pair of pliers ( and a piece of cloth or leather to protect the metal) and carefully bent to the right size. There is one problem I ran across with the jetslide. recently, I attended the winter namm show, ( national association of musical merchants), and I had the two jetslides with me (one stainless steel, one brass) the problem was, is that when I showed them to people, I had a hard time getting them back. I ran into at least 20 people that wanted to keep them. Besides that, the jetslide is pretty much flawless, it works equally as well on electric, acoustic and resonator guitars. Like I mentioned they come in both brass and stainless steel and is a must for any guitar player’s accessory arsenal. If you are not a slide player, you should pick one up and try the jetslide, because it makes slideplaying a breeze, once you get the hang of it. You can contact “jetslide” by visiting their website at www.jetslide.com or phone them toll free at 1-888-244-0252. so to all of you out there in guitar land keep rockin, Pieter holland
