MusicMaide Portfolio Reviews 5 / 5 based on 1 reviewsMusicmaide is a new company to hit the streets with a simple goal: to make organizing your music simple. The Portfolio is a simple way to organize your sheet music at home and get it to the gig in one, organized piece.
I saw the company advertising online and was able to review the Portfolio as well as the Stand Clips (I reviewed them also on Music Gear Review) for a blog I write. The cost of the Portfolio $20. There is also a separate Playlist Holder attachment available for an additional $10.

Think of the portfolio as the head of a music stand with a handle and pockets. It attaches directory to any music stand of flat surface. There is even an elastic strap to hold it down.
There are built in clips in front of the pockets to hold your music in place. To prove how much music it can fit I made a phone book fit behind the clips. It was tight, but worked. A Real Book fits like a glove.
The only thing is the portfolio is all black. I had to outline it with some neon tape so I could grab it easier off of a dark stage.
The plastic reminds me of a binder. It has a little bit of flex to it and weighs near nothing. The stand clips glide effortlessly allowing quick page turns and rotations.
You're stressed out enough about the gig, the Musicmaide Portfolio will at least organize your sheet music in a calming manner. Billy rated this unit on 2011-05-22.
