The Custom Custom is a Custom but with an Alnico II magnet installed. It still has the same slugs on one coil, adjustable screws on the other and four conductor wiring.

sounds great.. nice tone.. screams when u solo. nice thick tight sound for metal/Rock
can be a bit troublesome to install if u dont know what ur doing

if u own a guitar with humbuckers that dont sound too hot.. i recommend this david rated this unit on 2003-03-06.
