On my quest for great and new gear I came across Sommer Cable. The are new to me as of 2011 and made in Germany.
At $60 a cable this is not cheap, but for the money you are getting an amazing cable.
The 'wonderfully smooth frequency response' as the website explains is from the dual hot wire design. The wire is 22 guage but remember there are two of them. The shielding ratio is 100%. These cables are silent from outside interference or noise.
None. The cable is expensive, but you are paying for a great product. If you need the best in cables, this is it.
The Colonel Incredible is fitted with a gold plated Neutrik plug on each end of the cable. To keep the fearless army theme, the Colonel is wrapped in an olive green jacket.
