Blue Tone PRO30M ReviewsFirst tried it out at the Music Live show in Birmingham 18 months ago. Great sounding single channel amp but the price was way over what I wanted to pay. Saw the Townshend endorsement couple of months ago and, like Andy's review, had to have one at £499. They were shipping them out with free delivery then, in the UK anyway.
I wanted it not because I'm turning away from valves , but because its more practical for me. The stack can come out again when I get asked to do a festival somewhere and I want to piss the PA guys off! Don't know what else to say, really. For the price it is the best solid state guitar amp I've ever heard, so I'll give it a 5 on that basis. Would I swap it for my Marshall head and 4 x 12? No. I'll keep both, thanks.
