I vastly prefer the ISP stuff to the Boss stuff when it comes to noise gates. The Boss technology is just too outdated and doesn't sound as natural as the ISP does for the type of music I play. I would recommend everyone who regularly gigs to have one of these pedals because the noise from room to room will affect you rig each time and it can be needed if you have high gain in your tone.
