Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

Delta Labs makes pedals for Guitar Center exclusively. This ugly neon green pedal is built to be a clone of the Tubescreamer by Ibanez. I think they had to change the name of the pedal when it first came out. Just like the Tubescreamer 3 knobs: Gain, Tone and Level.

I am almost certain these are only available through Guitar Center. That is where I got mine. They are $50 which is half the price of a real Tubescreamer.

Simple to use and cheap. Very compact. True Bypass, which is rare on a $50 pedal.

It is a little too gainy for me. It almost has a little bit of the qualities that I don't like about Boss distortion pedals. It is good for somethings, but not as versatile as I'd like it to be.

Well built. You can stomp on it all night and not worry about breaking it.

A cool cheap pedal. Doesn't replace the classic Tubescreamer, but if you are on a budget or want something a hair different take this pedal for a test drive.
