Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

Musicians Friend - about $100 if I remember correctly. I was looking for something to get closer to that elusive Hendrix tone.

Simple, attractive, great tone and solidly built.

No way to use an adapter. It doesn't eat up batteries too badly, but there's no AC jack if I wanted to use one. You'd probably have to remove the bottom plate and get some type of adapter for the 9 volt jack.

Strong, durable construction.

This is definitely a "boutique" type of pedal. Perfect for certain situations, but probably not something you're going to be using all of the time - unless all you play is old Clapton and Hendrix tunes.
