Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I purchased this unit on ebay for $250. This was a chance-purchase in that I knew nothing about the company of the product prior to purchasing the pedal.

I lucked out! This pedal is truly amazing. The best defined OD I have ever heard and the cleanest boost available, all in one pedal. I have been playing for 40 years and I have used every pedal out there including Landgraff, Klon, Fulltone, Keeley-mods, Analogman, etc. This pedal is truly better sounding than all oc the above. Must be the extraodinary workmanship or the super-low tolerances of the components but the end product is amazing. To boot, it is housed in a beautiful enclosure. (Mine is highly polished aluminum with aluminum knobs and white lettering) This guy is as much a graphic artist as he is a tone craftsman.

I like it all. Great work from a guy obsessed with perfection.

AS above. I recommend a visit to his website- the English is terrible but he has lots of photos of tthe pedals inside and out. Meticulous workmanship!

This line of pedals is without a doubt, the best investment you can make in your sound. If you are looking for tone, look no further. The prices are high, but in this case, you really get what you pay for.
