Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

Bought at Musician's Friend for $29.99 because I needed a good way to position a mike for a floor guitar amp.

The boom is useful...that's about it.

The stand can't go low enough to mike a floor amp. The stand is too light and gets top-heavy easily. Also, the screwed-on top half twisted and fell off -- the grooves wore out -- after about a year. Thanks a lot!

Low. It's light and portable, but definitely not durable.

A one-year piece of equipment for $29.99? Look for me somewhere else.
